Claudio Echeverri could join a La Liga club this winter

In August, Bayer Leverkusen secured Claudio Echeverri on loan from Manchester City. However, the 19-year-old Argentine forward has been receiving limited playing time at the Leverkusen club.

As a result, there is a possibility that Echeverri may change teams as early as January. Insider Fabrizio Romano, citing journalist Nil Sol, reported that the player is open to a move during the winter transfer window.

According to reports, Spanish club Girona has initiated negotiations to take Echeverri on loan. Additionally, his former club River Plate is reportedly ready to welcome the player back on loan as well.
