Sergey Tashuyev Confirmed on Belarus National Team Shortlist

Renowned coach Sergey Tashuyev has announced that he is on the shortlist of candidates being considered for the position of head coach of the Belarus national football team. “As far as I know, I’m on the shortlist, but no one has contacted me yet.

There’s nothing to discuss at the moment, but I’ve left a significant mark in Belarus. I’m merely being mentioned as a candidate,” Tashuyev said, as quoted by "RB Sport".

At the same time, the specialist emphasized that he is ready to consider an offer if it becomes official. According to him, working with a national team is of interest.

Sergey Tashuyev has not been active in coaching for more than six months. He left the "Akhmat" football club at the end of spring.
