Mostovoy Recommends Safonov Stay at PSG

Former football player Aleksandr Mostovoy has shared his views on the future of PSG goalkeeper Matvey Safonov. According to him, the Russian goalkeeper should not leave the Parisian club.

“He trains every day with some of the best players in the world and plays in decisive stages of major tournaments. Being PSG’s second-choice goalkeeper is prestigious as well,” RB Sport quotes Mostovoy as saying.

In PSG’s last three matches, Safonov was trusted with the role of starting goalkeeper due to Lucas Chevalier’s injury. In these games, the Russian national team goalkeeper conceded a total of three goals.
