Norway's "Bodø/Glimt" goalkeeper Nikita Haikin has become the leader in the number of saves during the current season of the Champions League group stage. This information was reported by the RUSTAT Telegram channel.
According to the source, Haikin made 21 saves in six matches. It is noted that he may soon obtain Norwegian citizenship and later play for the country's national team, but the statistics did not mention who his closest competitors are.
Haikin also leads in the number of shots saved (37) and saves against shots taken from a distance of up to 10 meters (21). "Bodø/Glimt," however, is currently ranked 32nd in the tournament standings.
