The source highlights that Manchester City is preparing for the possibility of parting ways with Guardiola by working on contingency plans regarding their managerial position. Among the leading candidates for the head coach role is Enzo Maresca, who is currently in charge at Chelsea.

Maresca previously worked within Guardiola's coaching staff and also managed Manchester City's youth team. Reports suggest that in the near future, Maresca's departure from Chelsea cannot be ruled out.
