Former Zenit football player Denis Ugarov stated that Cristiano Ronaldo may not retire from his career in the next two to three years. He voiced his opinion in an interview with the online publication "Euro-Football.Ru."
According to Ugarov, Ronaldo still feels strong and his physical condition remains good. The expert believes that the level of football in Saudi Arabia is not as high as in Europe, which allows Ronaldo the opportunity to continue playing there for another two to three years.
Ugarov remarked that, for instance, playing in the Portuguese championship would require more effort and energy to showcase his skills, while the level of competition in Saudi Arabia is comparatively lower. The 40-year-old Ronaldo has been representing Al-Nassr since January 2023.
During the current season, the striker has played in 12 matches across all competitions, scoring 11 goals and providing 2 assists. Read “Zamin” on Telegram!
