The renowned website Transfermarkt has released an updated ranking of the 10 most valuable football players over the age of 30. The list clearly demonstrates that experience, consistency, and high skill levels are still highly valued.
The top spot in the ranking was taken by 32-year-old Harry Kane. The Bayern Munich striker is valued at 65 million euros, making him the undisputed leader among players over 30. Kane's goals, experience, and leadership qualities continue to keep his transfer value at a high level.
The top three also include Kane’s teammate and one of Germany’s national team leaders, Joshua Kimmich. The 30-year-old midfielder shares second place with Manchester United captain Bruno Fernandes. Both players are valued at 40 million euros.
The ranking features other notable names as well. Arsenal goalkeeper David Raya (35 million euros), PSG captain Marquinhos, and Liverpool star Mohamed Salah share fifth place, each valued at 30 million euros.
Additionally, Napoli midfielder Andre-Frank Zambo Anguissa, Manchester City star Bernardo Silva, Tottenham player João Palhinha, and Everton’s Jack Grealish also made it into the top ten.
Interestingly, two legends of football history — Cristiano Ronaldo (12 million euros) and Lionel Messi (15 million euros) — did not make this ranking. This once again highlights that youth, activity, and club level remain decisive factors in Transfermarkt valuations.
In conclusion, it is indeed possible to remain valuable and in demand in football even after the age of 30. Harry Kane and his fellow stars are vivid examples of this.
