Haaland Matches Ronaldo's Record in Premier League but with a Difference

Manchester City forward Erling Haaland scored against West Ham on Saturday. This goal marked the 18th goal for the Norwegian player in the current English Premier League season and his 103rd overall in the Premier League.

In the Premier League's all-time top scorers' ranking, Haaland has now equaled Cristiano Ronaldo with 103 goals, sharing the 33rd position. Ronaldo scored his 103 goals during two spells with Manchester United in the Premier League.

Cristiano Ronaldo has scored a total of 954 goals throughout his career. Naturally, Haaland still has a long way to go to reach this milestone.

For reference, the all-time leading scorer in Premier League history is Alan Shearer, who scored 260 goals. It is also worth noting that the Premier League was founded in 1992.
