Manchester United identifies two targets to strengthen midfield

Manchester United plans to actively work on strengthening its squad during the winter transfer window. The club management is exploring the market for players capable of bolstering the central midfield for the second half of the season.

According to *The Guardian*, the Red Devils have two midfielders in their sights. One of the candidates is Ruben Neves, who is currently playing for Saudi Arabia's Al-Hilal club.

Additionally, Manchester United is monitoring Atlético Madrid midfielder Conor Gallagher. Both players are being considered as potential targets for the January transfer window.
