Head coach of Munich’s “Bayern” club, Vincent Kompany, shared his thoughts on Cassiano Kiala and David Santos Daiber, who made their debut during a 4-0 victory against “Heidenheim.” The 16-year-old defender came off the bench during added time, while the 18-year-old midfielder was substituted into the game in the 72nd minute.
“Kiala and Daiber have been training with us for almost eight months now. During training, they frequently play against players like Kane and Kimmich, which has allowed them to gain considerable experience.
We knew beforehand that we could trust them,” said Kompany during a press conference. “Bayern” heads into the winter break as the leader in the Bundesliga standings.
The team holds a nine-point advantage over Dortmund’s “Borussia.”
