
The governing body of world football, FIFA, has released the updated list of rankings for national teams under its umbrella. Relevant information was published on FIFA's official website.
The Spanish national team secured the first position in the ranking with 1,877 points. They are followed by Argentina (1,873), France (1,870), England (1,834), Brazil (1,760), Portugal (1,760), the Netherlands (1,756), Belgium (1,730), Germany (1,724), and Croatia (1,716).
Under the management of Valery Karpin, the Russian national team is ranked 33rd, as it has been barred from participating in international tournaments and has earned ranking points only through friendly matches. The next update to the rankings is expected on January 19, 2026.
