Spanish defender Sergio Ramos has departed Mexico, where he recently played, and is now seeking a competitive environment in Europe. According to Italy’s *Repubblica* newspaper, his agent has even contacted the management of AC Milan to discuss potential collaboration opportunities.

Earlier, it had been reported that upon Ramos’ return to Europe, AC Milan was considered one of the primary contenders for his services. The club, having previously lost Thiago Silva, may now exert greater efforts to avoid a similar situation with Ramos.
