
Forward Mohamed Salah is highly likely to finish the current season at Liverpool despite the recent controversy. According to The Athletic journalist James Pearce, the Reds are planning the second half of the season with the Egyptian player. The club will not sign a new player for his position, and the experienced footballer will get regular game time.
Mohamed Salah joined Liverpool from Roma in 2017 for €42 million. His contract runs until 30 June 2027. This season, the Egyptian has made 20 appearances for the Reds, scoring 5 goals and providing 4 assists. Liverpool are 5th in the Premier League table with 29 points, 10 points behind leaders Arsenal.
