Franck Haise has reached an agreement with Nice’s management and decided to step down as the team’s head coach. The specialist will leave the club during the winter period. This is reported by euro-football.rureports.
It is said that the reason is the team’s disappointing results both in the French league and in the Europa League.
According to L’Equipe, Claude Puel will be appointed as Nice’s new coach. He previously managed the club in 2012–2016.
After 16 rounds, Nice are 17th in the Ligue 1 table with 17 points. In the Europa League, the team still have zero points even after six matches.
It was also noted that after one of the defeats, Nice fans attacked the bus carrying the players. After the incident, some players decided to leave the club.
