Bournemouth head coach Andoni Iraola answered another question about winger Antoine Semenyo’s future, euro-football.ru reportsreports.
The 25-year-old is said to be very close to a move to Manchester City, but the Cherries boss stressed that the deal has not been completed yet.
“Nothing has been signed yet. Talks are ongoing; I understand the hype, but Antoine is still our player for now. I think he could feature in the next two home games — against Arsenal and Tottenham — and that’s what we’re hoping for. Semenyo is a true professional and a very good guy. I’m sure he wants to help the team and will do everything he can,” Iraola said at a press conference.
Bournemouth host Arsenal on Saturday, with the match against Tottenham scheduled for Wednesday.
