Aston Villa head coach Unai Emery shared his thoughts after a convincing win over Nottingham Forest in Matchday 20 of the English league. This was reported by euro-football.rureports.
The coach stressed that the three points were very important for the team: according to him, the players rested before the match, prepared thoroughly, and fully met the requirements set. Emery noted that taking chances when they arose and preventing the opponent’s quick, dangerous attacks were the decisive factors.
The match took place on January 3, with Aston Villa winning 3–1. After this result, the Birmingham side have 42 points and sit second in the Premier League table.
