Dyakov believes FIFA will not impose sanctions on the US

Former defender Vitaliy Dyakov, who played for Moscow’s Dynamo, believes that FIFA, despite high-profile political events, will not reconsider the United States’ status as World Cup host. This was reported by euro-football.rureports.
According to him, international football bodies often take a selective approach in such situations, and as a result major tournaments continue as planned.
“We can see that no sanctions were imposed on Israel. Now, most likely, no measures will be taken against the US either — the World Cup is close. They are forgiven a lot; it’s a double standard,” Match TV quotes Dyakov as saying.
Recall that earlier US President Donald Trump said a large-scale military operation had been carried out against Venezuela, and it was also reported that the country’s leader Nicolas Maduro was detained during the process.
