Transfer rumors have intensified again around Manchester City striker Omar Marmusch. It is reported that two English Premier League clubs have begun efforts to sign the Egyptian forward.
According to TEAMtalk, Aston Villa, one of the Premier League leaders, plans to strengthen their attack with Marmuche. At the same time, Tottenham Hotspur has also expressed interest in the 26-year-old's services. That is, there is demand for Marmush - this is a fact.
However, the Citizens are very indifferent to this issue: Manchester City has no intention of selling the striker mid-season. Guardiola's team doesn't want to thin out their squad, especially during the challenging and tightly scheduled part of the season - that's understandable.
Currently, Marmuche's value in the transfer market is estimated at €65 million. His current contract with City runs until the summer of 2029. This means that clubs wishing to acquire him won't be able to finish the game cheaply - both the price is high and the contract is long.
As a reminder, the Egyptian forward has made 15 appearances under Josep Guardiola this season, scoring one goal and providing one assist.
