As reported on the official website of the Norwegian Football Association, Manchester City’s 25-year-old centre-forward Erling Haaland was named Norway’s Footballer of the Year for 2025. He played a major role not only for his club but also for the national team.
In 2025, Erling Haaland featured in 49 matches across all competitions, scoring 42 goals and providing eight assists. This once again proved his elite striker quality. Haaland also became one of Norway’s standout players, scoring 17 goals and registering 2 assists in 10 international appearances.
These goals helped Norway secure qualification for the 2026 World Cup. Haaland’s numbers and results this season show he is ready for new achievements in the future.
