Matvey Kislyak says playing for Russia is an honor

CSKA midfielder Matvey Kislyak responded to questions about the possibility of changing citizenship. Earlier, the issue of obtaining a Norwegian passport was also discussed regarding Bodo/Glimt goalkeeper Nikita Khaikin. This was reported by euro-football.ru reports .
Kislyak noted that he does not like to speculate about hypothetical scenarios. The footballer said he considers himself Russian, and playing for the Russia national team is an honor and a source of pride for him.
The 20-year-old, a CSKA academy graduate, has been playing for the senior team since 2023. This season he has made 27 appearances, scoring 5 goals and providing 5 assists.
