Manchester United’s management are considering alternative options to replace Casemiro, who is expected to leave the team at the end of the season. This is reported by euro-football.ru reports .
The Brazilian midfielder is set to announce his departure soon: in the summer, once his contract with the “Red Devils” expires, he will leave as a free agent. Journalist Rich Fay, citing sources close to Manchester United, says the club is confident that once Casemiro’s high wages are off the books, they will be able to strengthen the midfield with a new player. The main target is Elliot Anderson from Nottingham Forest.
Transfermarkt values Anderson at €60 million. The 23-year-old midfielder has made six appearances for the England national team, making his debut last September.
