Liverpool manager Arne Slot has described the current season as the most challenging and nerve-wracking in his career. The expert said that in previous years he had hardly seen such a difficult graph, so many "stops" and fluctuations in results.
Slot openly admitted: this season, unusual situations have become more frequent for both him and his players. Slot believes that, with the exception of injured players, the remaining players will be able to play at the high tempo required by Liverpool and the Premier League every three days. The coach also noted that the team has matured and started playing better compared to the beginning of the season. But he emphasized one important aspect: the issue is not only in the game, but also in the calendar.
He said that during the first six matches of the season, two matches were played once a week, meaning the load was relatively light. Then, when the graph doubled, point losses also increased. So, the problem isn't just on the pitch - it's also about maintaining tempo, recovery, and stability.
In short, Arne Slot openly admitted his first major challenge at Liverpool: this year hasn't been easy. But even these difficulties are a big lesson for the team. And the most important point for fans is not to see the team "sinking" right now, but rather to see it learning how to become stronger under strong pressure. The season is ending, but Liverpool, having passed this test, might become even harsher tomorrow.
