The long-awaited days of Andijan football fans have arrived. The updated squad and goals of the "Andijan" club for the 2026 season have been announced at the "Universal" sports complex. The complex was overflowing with ardent fans, and the enthusiastic applause of the "Ultras Burgut" group added a special charm to the event.
Champion's task from the regional governor
The khokim of the region, Shukhratbek Abdurakhmanov, personally participated in the event and set high requirements for the team. The khokim noted that this year will be a real "year of football" in Andijan, and emphasized that the team led by Samvel Babayan will be in the top three, and the main goal is to win the championship.
Well-known commentator Khayrulla Hamidov and the official representative of the Turkish club "Beshiktosh" Gokhan Saribayir also took part in the ceremony as guests. Khayrullo Hamidov's impactful speech further inspired those gathered at the stadium.
17 new stars and world-class fans
In his speech, Samvel Babayan acknowledged that Andijan fans are unmatched not only in Uzbekistan but also in the world. After that, 17 new players were solemnly presented with uniforms. In the updated squad, you can see such famous players as Dragan Cheran, Islom Tukhtakhodzhaev, and Azizbek Turgunbaev:

Eagles in combat readiness
Team leaders Dragan Cheran and Islom Tukhtakhodjayev were invited to the stage and said that all promises would be proven on the field and they would do everything possible to justify the fans' trust. The motivational speech of the chairman of the fan club, Nodirbek Tuychiev, marked the final and strong point of the event.
The club's general director, Ziyodbek Mashrapov, presented the team's uniform to the regional governor as a souvenir. Thus, Andijan took its first step towards new victories.
