Can foreign players from Iran return to the Super League? PFL head's response

The silence on the Iranian green fields could negatively impact the White Wolves' athletic form as they move towards the World Cup. Currently, the following players, who are the backbone of our national team, are active there:
- Jaloliddin Masharipov (Istiqlol)
- Oston Urunov (Persepolis)
- Odil Khamrobekov ("Sepahan")
- Rustam Ashurmatov (with the Iranian club after "Rubin")
- Igor Sergeev (Persepolis)
PFL position: National interest comes first!
Director of the Uzbekistan Professional Football League Diyor Imomkhodjayev noted that the organization is ready to provide any assistance in the interests of the national team. However, this requires the consent of international football organizations.
"If FIFA gives players the right to unilaterally terminate or suspend contracts with Iranian clubs, as in the conflicts in Russia and Ukraine, we are ready to register them. Also, if the Uzbekistan Football Association is allowed to accept players from other clubs even when the transfer window is closed, we will leave our doors open," said the PFL head.
Won't the sport's integrity be compromised?
According to the expert, this decision will not harm the competitive environment in the championship. Because the new season in Uzbekistan has just started. The main goal is not to leave our players without playing time and to maintain the strength of the national team before the World Cup qualifiers.
So, how will the events unfold? Does FIFA provide special privileges for foreign players in Iran? We will continue to monitor the situation.
In your opinion, the return of stars like Oston O'runov or Jaloliddin Masharipov to the Super League would significantly increase the chances of which of our clubs?
