Flick emphasized another important point: if a team plays a few more games with the same spirit, the same pressure, and the same confidence, it will be very difficult to stop it. This suggests that confidence in Barcelona's current performance remains. That is, although the cup was lost, the team did not break down, but showed a fighting spirit.
"All the players put in all their effort and had a fantastic match. It just wasn't the fourth goal, it could have been. I have a feeling that if we have more matches like this, we can't be stopped."
But after the victory came another unpleasant news. Flick openly stated that new injuries had appeared in the team. He expressed his dissatisfaction with the problems associated with Jules Kounde and Alejandro Balde, emphasizing the need for a serious discussion of the situation with the medical staff and physical training coaches. The coach is particularly concerned about several players getting injured within a week.
"We have new injuries (Jules Kounde and Alex Balde), I don't like it, it's bad. We need to talk to the medical team and physical education coaches. How can you protect three players from injuries in a week?" said Flick.
In short, this evening brought two different feelings for Barcelona: a strong victory on the field and football that amazed the stands, but one goal missed on the scoreboard and a lost final. Flick praised his team, but now he faces another serious task - to overcome the psychological shock and stop the wave of injuries.
