Young Uzbek boxers started the Bangkok tournament successfully

The prestigious "Futures Cup" international youth boxing tournament has kicked off in Bangkok, the capital of Thailand. Members of our two national teams representing our country demonstrated their high potential from the very first day. All four of our representatives who entered the ring on the opening day of the competition secured confident victories over their opponents and qualified for the next round.

In the initial bouts of the competition, Sabrina Chakomanova competed against Wang Yaorunyu from China in the girls' -54 kg weight category. At the end of a tense and uncompromising fight, the judges recorded a 3:2 victory for our compatriot. Our representatives also left no chance for their opponents in the boys' bouts. In particular, Abdugani Yorqinjonov defeated Tigran Kirakosyan from Armenia 5:0 in the -50 kg weight category, while Bobomurod Boymirzayev triumphed over Jefet Ordonez from Hong Kong with a 5:0 score in the -60 kg category.

At the end of the day, Saidkhoja Sadillakhodjayev, who entered the ring in the -70 kg weight category, also showed his skills. He defeated Noah Collier from New Zealand 4:1 and will continue his journey in the tournament successfully. According to the press service of the Uzbekistan Boxing Federation, such bright victories of our young boxers inspire great confidence for the next stages of the competition. The upcoming fights of our representatives are generating great interest among our fans.
