The girls of Uzbekistan defeated Bangladesh by a large margin and advanced to the playoffs

The Uzbekistan women's national team, led by Kotrina Kulbite, played against Bangladesh in the 3rd round of the competition and secured a convincing victory with a score of 4:0. This result was not only the first victory in the tournament, but also fulfilled the most important goal for our team - the task of getting out of the group: Uzbekistan qualified for the next stage with third place.
The score was opened in the 10th minute - Diyora Habibullayeva put our team ahead with a precise shot. In the second half, Dildora Nozimova scored two consecutive goals in the 62nd and 66th minutes, almost deciding the victory. Nilufar Kudratova scored the final goal in the 88th minute - 0:4.
In a parallel match, China defeated North Korea 2-1 and advanced to the playoffs as the group leader. North Korea secured a spot in the next round with second place.
Thus, the scenario for Uzbekistan is clear: the opponent of our team in the quarter-finals will be the winner of Group "A" or "C." That is, the upcoming clash is already a "big league" mood: strong opponent, high pressure, but not just an opportunity, it's an exam to match the opportunity itself.
For information, Uzbekistan-2 became one of two teams that could advance from the group even with a goal difference of three. Vietnam secured the second spot.
As a reminder, Kulbite's men lost to North Korea (0:3) and China (0:3) in the previous two rounds. But in the match against Bangladesh, the team pulled itself together, showed character, and at the most opportune moment returned with a resounding victory.
