At the boxing tournament in Thailand, our youth achieved three bright victories

The capital of Thailand, Bangkok, is hosting the prestigious Futures Cup international youth boxing tournament. At this major sports competition, promising masters of leather gloves from many countries of the world are competing against each other. Notably, two members of our national teams are representing Uzbekistan at this international tournament. Our young boxers have been seriously preparing for this tournament in order to gain experience in the international arena and prepare for future major competitions.

The program of the second day of the competition included interesting fights with the participation of 4 talented representatives of the Uzbekistan national team. The first fight took place in the girls' 57 kg weight category. Our compatriot Farzuna Ruzieva entered the ring against a strong Indian competitor, Longjam Radhamani. Despite the fact that our representative used all his skills in a tough and uncompromising match, in the end he lost to a more experienced opponent. Nevertheless, this fight will undoubtedly serve as an important school of experience for our young athlete towards future victories.

The competitions among the young men brought real joy to the fans. Bekzod Ismoiljonov, competing in the 55 kg weight category, fought against Senegalese boxer Sall Mohamed. Our compatriot took the initiative from the very first round and started delivering powerful blows to his opponent. His advantage was clearly manifested in the second round, and Bekzod defeated his opponent by technical knockout, securing a spot in the next round.

Another convincing victory was won by Bobomurod Boymirzayev, who defends the honor of our country in the 60 kg weight category. He competed against Sun Jao Ting of Chinese Taipei. During the fight, Bobomurod, who demonstrated the bright traditions of the Uzbek boxing school, managed to completely break his opponent's resistance by the third round. The judges decided to stop the fight prematurely, and our compatriot was declared the winner by technical knockout.

The last fight of the day took place in the 65 kg weight category, where Ibrohim Shokirjonov faced Abudujiyeli Kadierding from China. This confrontation lasted a full three rounds. Ibrahim demonstrated his technical and tactical superiority throughout the fight, leaving no chance for his opponent. In the end, the judges unanimously awarded the victory to the Uzbek boxer with a score of 5:0. According to the press service of the Uzbekistan Boxing Federation, our youth's participation in the tournament continues successfully, and many more exciting fights await us ahead.
