Earlier reports suggested that the management of "Real Madrid" is considering Pochettino as one of the top contenders for the head coach position. When asked about these speculations, the manager offered a very cautious and philosophical response.
- "Did the interest from 'Real Madrid' inspire me? Everything has its time. Football takes us where it wants, not where we want," Pochettino stated, leaving the door open for future possibilities without making any direct commitments.
Mauricio Pochettino took charge of the United States national team in 2024. His current contract with the American squad is set to run until July 2026, covering the upcoming World Cup cycle.
