President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev, during his visit to the Samarkand region, began by visiting the Youth Creativity Town and public park.
During the visit, the head of state familiarized himself with the activities of the regional chess federation and the modern conditions created for young chess players. Wide opportunities have been created here for organizing training camps, holding tournaments, and supporting talented youth.
Olympic champion Jahongir Vakhidov also took part in the meeting. Moreover, the town serves as an important center not only for recreation for young people, but also for intellectual development and the development of chess.
The newly created Youth Creative Town creates an important opportunity for the younger generation to acquire knowledge, develop strategic thinking and creative activity.
