"Manchester City" are considering Vincent Kompany

"Manchester City" are reportedly looking at Vincent Kompany as a possible replacement for Pep Guardiola if the Spanish coach decides to leave after the current season. Guardiola is under contract until the summer of 2027, but recent reports have suggested that his future at the club is not fully settled.
According to Sky Sport, club officials are seriously assessing Kompany, who is currently working at "Bayern". The Belgian coach has made a strong impression in Munich, and his progress there has reportedly drawn attention from his former club.
Sources close to "Bayern" are said to be aware of the interest, although they do not believe Kompany is likely to depart in the near future. He recently extended his contract with the German side until the middle of 2029 and is understood to have a good relationship with sporting leaders Max Eberl and Christoph Freund.
Kompany is no stranger to "Manchester City". He spent many years at the club as a player and also gained experience within Guardiola’s coaching setup. That history could make him an attractive option if the Premier League champions are forced to plan for a new era on the touchline.
