Tyson Fury after the fight: made serious self-criticism public

Tyson Fury recently shared his emotions after watching the fight between Derek Chisora and Deontay Wilder. His words stood out for their sharpness and sincerity.

Fury admitted that watching this fight was psychologically difficult for him. He described what he saw in the ring as sad and said he had never seen two strong boxers drop to such a low level before.

“Watching this fight was very hard for me. It was sad. I have never in my life seen two men drop to such a low level,” said Fury.

This situation raised a serious question in him: “What if I am next?” — this thought disturbed him. Because of this, he gave a strict demand to his team: if he himself ends up in such a bad condition during a fight, they must immediately take him out of the ring.

“So I told my team: ‘If I am in a fight and I am even 10% as bad as those guys, take me out and throw me out of the ring,’” Fury said.

Fury’s statement shows his high self-demand and realistic view of the situation in sport. He once again demonstrated that he takes his form and reputation seriously in any situation.

It is worth noting that in this fight, Deontay Wilder defeated Derek Chisora by judges’ decision in a bout held in London.
