Tojiyev spoke about Pakhtakor's victory, the cup, and the problematic squad

In the 7th round of the Super League, Tashkent’s “Pakhtakor” faced “Mash’al” and secured a 2:1 victory. After the match, the team’s head coach Kamoliddin Tohjiev shared his thoughts about the game.
He noted that in the first half “Pakhtakor” played quite actively and confidently. The team scored two goals against the opponent and went into halftime with a lead. However, in the second half the situation became slightly more difficult — the fatigue from previous matches, where a lot of energy had been spent, became noticeable.
According to the coach, in the second half both teams had chances to score. However, the main focus remained on the result, and the most important thing was the victory achieved.
— Today’s victory is very important for us. Every point has great significance throughout the season, — said Tohjiev.
He also touched on upcoming competitions. In May, cup matches are scheduled, where “Pakhtakor” may face serious squad losses.
In particular, due to players being called up to the national team, the club may be without 7–8 footballers. This could significantly affect the squad.
— This schedule was set in advance, and we have to adapt to it. Under any circumstances, we must step onto the field and play, — said the coach.
Thus, “Pakhtakor’s” victory over “Mash’al” brought important three points, but it also clearly showed that the team still has certain problems.
