In the second leg of the UEFA Champions League quarter-finals, PSG claimed a 2-0 away victory over Liverpool. With a 4-0 aggregate score, the Parisian club comfortably progressed to the semi-finals. Ousmane Dembele was the star of the night, scoring both goals in the 72nd and 90+1st minutes to silence the Anfield crowd.
Statistically, Liverpool controlled much of the game, maintaining 57% possession and launching 21 shots, 7 of which were on target. However, they lacked the finishing touch required at this level. In contrast, PSG was highly efficient, scoring twice from just 5 shots on target. Despite winning 8 corners and pushing forward throughout the match, Liverpool couldn't break through the clinical PSG defense.
