Italian journalist Nicolò De Devitiis visited Uzbekistan to film a special program titled "24 Hours with Fabio Cannavaro." Through this project, fans had the opportunity to get a close look not only at the daily activities of the famous specialist but also at the atmosphere within the Uzbekistan national team.
During the program, Cannavaro personally welcomed the guest in Tashkent and introduced him to the national team's new training base, the modern conditions created there, and the training processes. At the same time, he spoke openly about his monthly salary, the tasks set for the team, and most importantly — his goals for the World Cup.
One of the journalist's primary interests was meeting the leading players of our national team. Cannavaro scheduled this for after the training sessions. Subsequently, Nicolò spoke with Eldor Shomurodov and Abdukodir Khusanov, inquiring about their thoughts and morale.
De Devitiis also observed the Uzbekistan — Gabon match held at the "Bunyodkor" stadium in Tashkent. After the game, he jokingly told Cannavaro: "See, you won — I bring luck!" The Italian specialist replied with a laugh: "If that is the case, I will take you to the World Cup as well."
During the conversation, Cannavaro emphasized that he is working on bringing the team to a competitive level. According to him, the goal is to present Uzbekistan as a serious force and a difficult opponent for rivals at the World Cup.
The journalist also touched upon Cannavaro's playing career. He asked for his thoughts on winning the World Cup with Italy, the history of the "Ballon d'Or," and the Champions League. Interestingly, Cannavaro predicted "Bayern" as the winner of the current season's competition.
In short, this program is not just a simple interview, but a reportage that "entered" the inside of Uzbek football. Cannavaro sent a clear signal: this team will still surprise many.
