Following Andijon's 2:1 home victory over "Dinamo" Samarkand in the 10th round of the Uzbekistan Super League, head coach Islom Ahmedov participated in the second part of the press conference. The specialist spoke in detail about the difficult match, tactical decisions, and the atmosphere within the team.
Ahmedov first emphasized that the victory was not easily achieved and spoke highly of the opponent's potential:
“I congratulate all our fans and the regional leadership on today's result. “Dinamo” has well-selected players and an experienced coach. We knew the match would be difficult. Our boys showed character and were able to change the result in the second half,” he said.

Turning to tactical matters, Ahmedov stated that the team is emphasizing developing its own style rather than adapting to the opponent. Internal competition has been strengthened, and those in the best form are taking the field. It was noted that this approach is yielding results.
The coach paid special attention to a question regarding the decisive role played by substitutes:
“We give them confidence by telling them they are also first-team players. We explain that they need to strengthen the game in the second half. Therefore, every player who takes the field is giving their all,” he said.
Regarding the difficulties during the match, the coach admitted that some fatigue was observed in the players. At the same time, the team tried to play more simply in the first half due to pressure. During the break, players were told to move freely and not to be afraid of making mistakes.
Ahmedov also touched upon the condition of the pitch, stating that it was unexpected for them as well, as the team is primarily adapted to playing through ball control and passing.
Additionally, information was provided regarding the status of certain players. It was mentioned that Golban is in the process of recovering from an injury, while Boltaboyev is in good condition.
The coach also placed special emphasis on the influence of the fans:
“A team with such fans should always win. There is pressure, but this pressure also gives us strength. In the second half, as the fans supported us, the team became even more inspired,” Ahmedov said.
