Brazilian star Neymar has fueled rumors of a potential move to Boca Juniors after being spotted in Buenos Aires. The forward, currently playing for Santos, visited the Argentine club's training base and returned with special gifts. This was reported by Goal.com xabar.
Neymar had traveled to Argentina with the Santos squad for a match against San Lorenzo. He took the opportunity to visit the Boca Juniors training ground.
During the visit, he was presented with two special jerseys, including one gifted by club president Juan Roman Riquelme.
Club officials emphasized that the visit was purely friendly. They stated that no formal negotiations took place between the president and the player.
Nevertheless, the former Barcelona star being photographed in the Argentine club's jersey has sparked significant interest among fans.
Neymar's ties to Boca Juniors are also strengthened through his former teammates. In Buenos Aires, he met with his former Paris Saint-Germain partner Ander Herrera.
Additionally, Leandro Paredes had previously expressed a desire to recruit his friend to the Argentine team.
Currently, Neymar's situation at Santos is considered unstable. Although his contract is set to run until December 2026, it is reported that the club owes the player a significant amount of money.
If he leaves Brazil, a move to an MLS club is also considered a possibility.
