Our young boxers face decisive bouts at the Asian Championship today

The Asian Junior and Schoolboys Boxing Championships are currently in full swing at the Olympic Village. Today, the U-17 quarter-finals will take place, with the Uzbekistan national team facing 11 crucial bouts.

In the girls' -46kg category, Ruxshonabonu Ahadova will face South Korea's Soheon Lee. In the -48kg category, Farangiz Usvaliyeva will compete against Vietnam's Thi Ru Na Dinh.
In the -50kg category, Parvina Shakarova will test her strength against India's Ovi Abhijeyet. At -52kg, Marjona Xudayberdiyeva will fight Kazakhstan's Lashin Dauletjan.
In the -54kg category, Qumriniso Muhammadova will face Chinese Taipei's Yu-Ya Chen. In the -57kg category, Madinabonu Xudoyorova will compete against Kazakhstan's Razaliya Vaideman.
In the -60kg category, Salomatxon Sardorova will face Kyrgyzstan's Ayzada Akimjanova. At -63kg, Mehrimax Qilicheva will step into the ring against Kazakhstan's Alina Kojevnikova.
In the -80kg category, Feruzabonu Kamolova will face Iran's Fateme Rastegarmehjenaba.
Exciting matchups are also expected among the boys. In the -46kg category, Abdulloh Nuraliyev will face Mongolia's Sun-Erdene Buyanbat.
In the -48kg category, Kamronbek Bahodirov will step into the ring against Tajikistan's Firuzjon Boymatov.
According to the Uzbekistan Boxing Federation, the bouts will be held in two sessions, starting at 11:00 and 15:30.
Experts believe the young Uzbek boxers are performing at a high level. Their speed, technical preparation, and fighting spirit are highly praised by the coaching staff.
