Bayern Munich to strengthen attack: Osula transfer expected

Bayern Munich has set its sights on Newcastle United striker William Osula to bolster their squad. According to the Daily Mail, the German giants view the 22-year-old Danish forward as a backup option for Harry Kane. Nicolas Jackson, who currently fills this role, is expected to return to Chelsea at the end of the season, reports Goal.com .
Osula is a physically strong and fast striker who has managed to score 7 goals in 32 appearances this season. Although he lacks consistent playing time at Newcastle United, his effective performances in recent matches have caught the attention of Bayern scouts. Bayer Leverkusen, Everton, and Crystal Palace are also showing interest in him.
The player's transfer value is estimated at around 46 million euros, as Newcastle United needs to raise funds to comply with financial regulations. Previously, Osula had reached an agreement with Eintracht Frankfurt, but the transfer did not materialize. If Bayern is looking for a traditional center-forward, Dusan Vlahovic, whose contract with Juventus is expiring, is also being considered as a cheaper option.
