Real Madrid president Florentino Perez has addressed questions regarding the future and contract extension of one of the team's leaders, Vinicius Junior. The Brazilian winger's current deal runs until June 30, 2027, and his future remains a topic of interest among fans.
Speaking on El Chiringuito, Perez praised Vinicius as one of Real Madrid's most important players. He noted that the Brazilian star has played a crucial role in the club's major successes in recent years.
"I don't extend contracts. But I consider Vinicius one of the best players at Real Madrid. He helped us win our last two Champions League titles," Perez said.

"There is no rush to extend his contract. We still have an entire season to talk to him," Perez added.
At the same time, the Real Madrid chief reminded that the club has specific personnel responsible for each department. He emphasized that contract matters fall under the sporting director's duties and that not all decisions are made solely by the president.
"You think I am responsible for everything, but that is the sporting director's job," he said.
Vinicius Junior remains a key figure in Real Madrid's attack this season. He has made 34 appearances in La Liga, scoring 15 goals and providing 5 assists. These numbers demonstrate that his influence on the team's attacking line remains high.
