Arsenal have officially confirmed that Irish captain Katie McCabe will leave the club at the end of the current season. The 30-year-old player has been representing the London club since 2015. This is reported by Goal.com .
During her eleven-year career, McCabe made 305 appearances and scored 37 goals. Together with the team, she won all prestigious trophies, including the Women's Super League, the FA Cup, and the 2025 Women's Champions League.
Club director Clare Wheatley highlighted the player's place in the club's history, expressing gratitude for her dedication and the strong bond she built with the fans. McCabe was named the club's Player of the Season twice.
The Dublin-born player won the hearts of fans with her brilliant play and powerful left-footed strikes. Her final achievement with Arsenal was the FIFA Champions Cup won in February 2026.
