UFA's payment for the match against the Netherlands revealed

The upcoming major friendly matches of the Uzbekistan national team are sparking widespread debate on social media. In particular, information has emerged among fans regarding the costs associated with the match against the Netherlands, one of the world's football giants.
What is the cost of the closed-door match?
Sherzod Igamberdiyev, former head of the national teams department at the Uzbekistan Football Association (UFA), clarified the matter on his official Instagram page. According to him, the UFA will pay the opponent $300,000 for the closed-door friendly match organized with the Netherlands national team.
How much profit did the UFA make from previous matches?
The former official also highlighted the organization's positive financial performance in recent years. It is noted that when the Uzbekistan national team organized matches against strong teams like Cameroon, Costa Rica, Bolivia, Venezuela, Russia, USA, Mexico, Uruguay, and Canada, they did not pay a single cent to the opponents or intermediary agents.
On the contrary, thanks to a sound marketing policy, the association's budget received a total of $525,000 in net profit from these matches. Furthermore, all expenses related to accommodation, hotels, and meals for the Uzbekistan delegation during these overseas trips were fully covered by the host countries or organizers.

As a reminder, Fabio Cannavaro's squad will travel overseas during the June international window to play friendly matches against the national teams of Canada and the Netherlands.
