That's why you must win next year," the forward said.
Having joined the team in 2017, Mohamed Salah scored 257 goals for the Merseyside club, becoming the third-highest scorer in the club's history. His departure marks the end of a huge and successful era in Liverpool's history. The Egyptian footballer has been the team's main leader for nearly a decade.
Head coach Arne Slot also touched upon Salah's role in the club's history and his own career. Slot acknowledged that Mohamed Salah's contribution was incomparable in winning the Premier League title in his debut season. The coach noted that Salah's goals and leadership were the main factors in this success.
