Bayern Munich is forced to revise its plans for the summer transfer window. French defender Ibrahima Konate is expected to leave Liverpool as a free agent this summer. According to L'Equipe, Bayern will compete with Chelsea and Real Madrid for the player. Konate previously formed a solid tandem with Dayot Upamecano at RB Leipzig and for the France national team.
Although Dayot Upamecano and Jonathan Tah are currently the main defenders at Bayern, the club's management wants to further expand the squad.
