A major breakthrough has occurred in China's tech sector — Dejia Energy has officially launched mass production of its solid-state batteries during an event in Kunshan, pepelac.news reported.
These advanced batteries can charge to 100% in just 3 minutes and retain over 90% capacity even at extreme temperatures as low as −40°C.
During the demonstration, a battery was cut in half and did not catch fire — proving its high level of safety.
These batteries are expected to be used in robotics, low-voltage systems, and unmanned vehicles — areas where traditional batteries fall short.
