
Microsoft has discontinued the Skype messenger, reports Kursiv Media. This decision affects users of both the free and subscription versions of Skype, with the exception of the corporate platform Skype for Business, which will continue to operate.
Microsoft is offering users the Microsoft Teams program, which includes the main features of Skype — chats, voice, and video calls. Users can register in Teams using their existing Skype account, with contacts and messages automatically transferred. Users will also receive a notification about this within the application.
