Android adds instant hotspot and call sharing

Android now features an instant hotspot option during the setup of a new smartphone, Rozetked reported.

The feature allows users to connect to another Android phone and use it as a hotspot with a single tap. Call relay between devices is also now more accessible.

Previously, these functions were buried deep in settings: Google ⟶ all services ⟶ services for multiple devices.

Now, these options appear automatically during new device setup. To work, both devices must be on the same Google account and physically nearby.
