New Chrome version operates faster and more efficiently

New Chrome version operates faster and more efficiently
Google Chrome browser has become 10% faster due to new optimizations, reports Overclockers.ru. This improvement is attributed to enhancements in memory and cache management within the Blink engine.

As part of the updates, internal data structures in components like DOM and CSS were redesigned. These changes allowed for more efficient memory usage and better utilization of CPU caches.

A complete transition to the Oilpan garbage collection system was implemented, reducing reliance on the malloc function. This improved performance in areas such as the DOM.

Improvements were also made in string handling, including an updated hashing method that increased performance. Caching methods were enhanced to achieve higher cache hit rates and reduce misses.

These changes improved Chrome's results in the Speedometer 3.0 test and increased the overall efficiency of the browser.
