NVIDIA rival Groq to raise big in AI chip race

AI chip startup Groq, seen as a competitor to NVIDIA, is reportedly nearing a new funding round, according to TechCrunch.com.

Sources say the company is seeking to raise funds at a $6 billion valuation (approx. 75.6 trillion UZS).

Groq is known for its high-performance chips and streaming architecture, which accelerates AI computing tasks.

In recent months, Groq has reportedly held partnership talks with OpenAI, xAI, and other major players in the AI sector.

If finalized, the investment could position Groq as a leading challenger to NVIDIA in the growing AI hardware market.

While no official statement has been made yet, the deal is expected to close soon.
