iPhone 17 Pro Max and Galaxy S25 Ultra were once again compared for performance speed, reports the publication 4pda.to. This time, the YouTube channel PhoneBuff tested with more applications and using a robotic arm — as a result, the Android flagship won with a significant advantage.
The test consisted of two stages. First, the same apps were launched consecutively on both smartphones, and then moved to background mode. After that, all apps were reopened. All actions were performed with precise measurement by a robot.
The Galaxy S25 Ultra completed the first stage in 2 minutes 2.59 seconds, while the iPhone 17 Pro Max finished in 2 minutes 16.18 seconds. In the second stage, the Galaxy also won — 47 seconds versus 49 seconds.
According to the author, at certain moments the S25 Ultra was ahead by up to three apps. At the same time, the iPhone took 40% more time to export a video in the video editing program, even though video processing is considered a strength of Apple devices.
